Last week a few of us started the second edition of our by now annual Thailand adventure. The infamous supermen trip from the year before was somewhat blurry in our memories, so we expected of course some days of relaxation, healthy life, sports, loads of sleep and so on. It turned out that for the second time in a row our expectations where not exactly met. However we celebrated unforeseen success stories that weekend, such as making it to the football pitch with the full squad somewhat on time, even winning a few games and making it to the bowl cup final, and – most importantly – getting the whole wolfpack back to Shanghai in one piece (yet the tough conditions in Thailand will require an extra effort of physiotherapists, nurses and other caretakers – ie girlfriends, wives, dogs, roommates – to get us back to gameday shape).
