One day after the last match day of the season for 3U and the cup final for ReU (report to follow), our hunger for football was still as big as ever. Therefore we grasped the opportunity to participate in the beach soccer tournament on the Shanghai Bund Beach. It was a first for us to play beach Football together, but the opportunity to spend a sunny Sunday together with friends, playing football and having some drinks at the beach bar was too good for us to miss. Even though it was a premiere for us we did pretty well, only in the quarter finals the fortunes were against us when we received a last-second equalizer through a penalty and lost only in the penalty shootout. Nevertheless it was a fantastic day on the beach and we certainly will be back for the next one!
