ReUnited continued their good start to the season with a comfortable but well fought victory over Oranje. The winning margin could have been higher but we showed excellent focus to prevent the Dutch coming back into the game.

The game started slowly and although we had a few early half chances it took us about twenty minutes to find our flow. Oranje were showing heart and organisation and we were struggling to create good chances.

However, things changed when a Dutch defender gave the ball away cheaply and Adam was suddenly one on one with the keeper to finish. After that the game became more open and Dave hit the post with a curling shot with Karsten putting the rebound over the bar.

After half time the game was freer with the Dutch becoming more fragmented and losing some energy. We created many great chances with our finishing awry before we added a second when Sasha tapped in after a scramble in the box.

The third came similarly after some penalty area ping pong following a corner. Karsten hit a great shot on the turn which their stranded keeper could only turn to Essien who finished well from around six yards. And so a potential slip up was avoided after a satisfactory day at the office.
